Latest Features for cTrader Mobile Version 3.11
In the latest version of cTrader mobile, which is soon to be released, a number of new and exciting chart types have been introduced. This version of cTrader mobile includes Tick Charts and charts with Range Bars and Renko Bars. In this update, there have also been additional improvements made to the Fibonacci Retracement tool, the option to hide indicator titles which were previously printed on the chart and finally the ability to jump to the New Order screen from the QuickTrade chart panel.
New Chart Types
The most noteworthy enhancement in this update is the introduction of Tick, Range and Renko charts. These new charts in the mobile app better align the mobile trading experience with desktop and web cTrader apps.
Tick Charts are based on a number of price movements. Each price movement is one Tick. A new bar is completed every time the number of Ticks is reached. A one-Tick chart will print a bar for each new price update and will usually move very fast. A five-Tick chart will complete a bar each time five ticks have been produced. In general, tick charts provide information about market volatility.
Range Bars are based on price changes. They allow you to better analyse market volatility. Traders choose their preferred price range and then a bar is printed every time this price movement is reached.
Renko Bars highly focus on price movement and print a new bar once a certain amount of pips has been reached since the last bar closed. They help with identifying support and resistance levels, as well as price patterns.
Full-Screen Chart Improvements
The Fibonacci Retracement is now easier to manipulate. The option to hide indicator titles declutters the chart releases additional space for market analysis. You can now open a New Order screen while on the QuickTrade chart panel, in order to avoid closing full-screen charts. This allows you to quickly hop from the chart to the order forms. As always, the version also comprises a series of bug fixes and performance improvements.
