Spotware Release Version 3.5 of cTrader Desktop
Spotware Systems, the Cyprus based trading platform development company behind the award-winning cTrader platform, has made an announcement that their Public Beta version of cTrader Desktop has been updated to version 3.5. The new release showcases the new look that very much resembles the earlier release of cTrader Web, thus unifying the platform even more.
What’s Changed in cTrader Desktop
The new version is based on a symbol-centric concept. It incorporates the Active Symbol Panel (ASP) which offers detailed symbol information and fast controls. Traders can now quickly grasp the current situation of a particular market and take swift actions when the opportunity strikes.
Other major changes include a new side menu that was also successfully introduced to cTrader Web. The new menu greatly improves navigation by merging all applications, settings and controls under one hood. Watchlists are placed below the Trade section title. The list of cBots and indicators are located under the cTrader Automate section title. These changes offer more space than that of the previous version once collapsed.
The new version of cTrader Desktop also has additional features and tools. Among these are live Renko bars, a new accounts menu and new layout modes. In cTrader Automate app, there are also new additions including the Backtesting and Optimization progress bar, input parameters grouping for cBots and indicators, the possibility to save cBots inside chart templates, and new methods in the cTrader Automate API.
Commenting on the launch, Panagiotis Charalampous, Head of Community Management at Spotware, stated:
“Our goal is to provide traders with the same user experience on all devices, as cTrader is accessible on desktop, web, and mobile. Also, being a very trader-oriented platform, we constantly add requested by traders features with every new update.”
